Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement to Clients and their Families
We are committed to the safety and well-being of our clients, their families and our team of caregivers. Like many of you, we are actively monitoring this evolving situation, and we will share updates about our approach to COVID-19 as new information becomes available.
As a home care team providing unparalleled services for you and your loved ones, we will continue to deliver the quality of care you have entrusted in us. We understand the urgency of this current situation and are committed to delivering the best possible care, while also prioritizing the safety and well-being of our employees.
All of our caregivers are diligently adhering to suggested hygiene measures that are performed during cold and flu season.
What we’re doing:
- Washing hands frequently with soap and water and using hand sanitizers before and after home visits.
- Coughing and/or sneezing by using a tissue or elbow.
- Limiting contact with others who are/have been sick.
- Being respectful of personal space of others and when greeting.
- Limiting and preventing touching eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Using sanitizers in vehicles and providing individual hand sanitizers for employees traveling by public transit.
- Supplying employees with extra shirts and changing clothing twice daily.
- Any employees traveling abroad won’t return to work for 2 weeks upon return.
What we encourage you to do:
- More frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces (handles, railings), if possible.
- Frequent washing of hands with soap and water.
- Coughing and/or sneezing by using a tissue or elbow.
- Limiting and preventing touching eyes, nose and mouth.
- Advising your care provider if you have flu-like symptoms, fever or cough.
- Have gloves available for caregivers to use for personal care.
